Bricco was highly recommended by the older gentleman that works at the Mozzicato cafe in Hartford and he was very specific about this location and what we should try and we are grateful he did. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious. The wait was short and we were greeted & seated immediately. Calamari was great, not heavily breaded and served with peppers. Don't miss out on the meatballs... they were fantastic. Now on to the pastas... WOW... tried a few and although they were all amazing, I have to say the penne ala vodka is by far the best I've ever had and this is exactly what the gentleman at Mozzicato recommended. The penne was so good we went back on our last day in Hartford and also tried the Nutella dessert. Worth the visit!!!

Came here on a Wednesday night and was able to be sat immediately outside. It was warm but when the temperature got cooler they brought out heat lamps for every table with customers! Menu had so many great options. The whipped ricotta was amazing and these lemon ricotta ravioli were very flavorful. The cocktail menu was alright, are drinks were only okay, when i go back i will probably just get wine. Service was great!

Incredible food, incredible service and a wonderful experience. I did not get photos of everything but all our dishes were great. Our server was attentive and kind with great recommendations, and also allowed us to sample tastes of wines until we got the right one. The restaurant was very busy and a little loud but there were no delays in service whatsoever. We were seated immediately after being checked in and never felt rushed. Everything was wonderful, will certainly be back!

"I will try every day Do my best, are you impressed?" (Charli XCX) Hell yes. Restaurant Bricco sure impressed me a lot. We walked in a week ago to make reservation for four on the evening of November 24. What we actually did was put our name on a "Call Ahead" preferred list, because Bricco doesn't accept reservations in the conventional manner. Well, when our party of four arrived at our designated time of 5:30, we were seated right away and didn't have to wait at all. When we walked in, I saw the bar was jam packed. By 5:45, the entire restaurant was jam packed. Our table was in the back dining room, with a great look into their open kitchen, so it was fun to see the black-clad Team Bricco swarming around taking care of everyone. Adam (our server) introduced himself, offered us water and brought out a complimentary bread basket. I gotta tell you -the bread was amazing -super soft and pillowy, and a sprinkle of oil and black pepper made mine a great way to start the meal. Three of us ordered cocktails from their seasonal menu - a Bricco Espresso-Tini ($15), an Apple Cider Sangria ($13), and an Oak Aged Old Fashioned ($15). The martini was mine and it had a great coffee taste. I mooched a sip of my wife's sangria and was surprised at how powerful it was. Definitely one of the strongest sangrias I remember tasting. We went all over their broad menu for dinner - two pastas, a pizza, and a salad. My choice was Housemade Squid Ink Cavetelli ($29) with "shrimp, calamari, scungilli, arrabiata, nduja pork, capers, & green olives". It was delicious. The pasta was perfect, the three big shrimps were amazing, and the mixed seafood and spicy sauce all combined for a terrific meal. All four of us loved our drinks and food, and Adam provided frequent check backs and water refills. He was excellent. Bricco treated us very well, and our $148 dinner of four entrees and three cocktails was well worth every penny. Bricco gets five stars easily.
